Movie Monitor compares the availability, pricing and quality of on-demand, streaming and downloadable movies across the web's leading providers of video content. The service is provided by a New York-based technology startup, Movie Monitor LLC, to help movie watchers make sense of the rapidly-expanding online video on demand (VOD) industry. It tracks movies available for both rental and purchase, and includes a comparison of quality (SD, HD, and HDX), a database of critically acclaimed films, and links to reviews on other sites.
