Moneta Ventures is an early stage VC investing in technology and healthcare companies in the Greater Sacramento Area & Northern California.

We invest in early stage companies in the software, cloud, IT services, healthcare, and internet and consumer sectors. While location is not a restriction, a majority of the companies we fund are headquartered in under-served markets on the US West Coast. Our average investment size is between $500K and $2M per investment. Our funded companies typically have annual revenues between $500K and $5M at the time of investment. We invest in management teams with skin in the game and an unwavering commitment to see their business ideas succeed. In other words, Moneta is investing in companies that have sprouted beyond the seed stage and are ready to grow.
