Its membrane process division uses its Forward Osmosis technology platform in a number of membrane processes, including seawater desalination, make-up water production for evaporative cooling systems, thermal desalination processes, membrane brine concentration, and oil recovery and hydro osmotic power. Modern Water supplies a range of high specification, low cost, packaged RO systems for seawater desalination applications under the AquaPak brand. It brings together acute toxicity monitoring systems for online, portable, and lab use with global environmental and process monitoring products and technologies. Founded in 2006, Modern Water is based in Guildford, Surrey.
