Mobilize Systems Ltd are specialists in operating app-based loyalty programmes. The company was founded in the UK in 2002 to commercialise mobile bar-code technology. In 2004 it was granted a related technology patent around which it has built a proprietary loyalty technology platform. Since 2007 the company has operated its own mobile phone-based loyalty club, SHOP SCAN SAVE. In 2010 this became the first fully integrated app-based loyalty scheme, available at 30,000 British convenience outlets. In addition to its technology, Mobilize has built up core competences around smartphone app design, loyalty scheme design & operations, and data analytics. Data collection and leverage is key to Mobilize’s business with an in-house analytics department drawing on the successes of the UK affiliate programme Nectar (Sainsbury’s, BP, Barclays), Groupe Aeroplan and Reward Insights (RBS, NatWest, Mastercard).
