MINEXIA provides investors with access to specialist, alternative investments in mining, metals and commodity trade finance. The company was founded in 2014 by a multi-disciplinary team with over 60 years’ experience in the mining, mining finance, risk management and commodity trading sectors with organisations including; Barrick Gold, Anglo American, Rothschild, Nedbank Capital, Standard Bank, BP and SRK Exploration Services. MINEXIA is focused on supporting junior and mid-tier mining companies with alternative mining finance through a debut alternative mine finance fund due to launch in Q3 in 2016. The objective of the fund is to provide investors with exposure to an actively managed and diversified portfolio of precious metal streams and mezzanine/subordinate debt. In addition to its own asset management objectives, MINEXIA creates strategic relationships to source both traditional and alternative financing for junior and mid-tier exploration and mining projects globally and leverages its network and more than 60 years combined experience in the mining and mining finance sectors.
