As the traditional family network to meet casual babysitting needs had weakened, making it more and more difficult for parents to find reliable childcare outside of crèche hours. The founders brought with them a wealth of experience in IT, business management and childcare. At that time minderfinders operated as a traditional agency, i.e. matching up suitable candidates with families and confirming bookings by telephone, babysitters availability was not confirmed for any given date without first phoning them!
