MiiiCasa

MiiiCasa is an internet service platform that helps its users and their friends and families connect in a private, secure, and fun way.

MiiiCasa team was set up in October 2009, a business unit of D-Link Corporation originally. In June 2011, miiiCasa Taiwan Inc. was officially established and built the miiiCasa brand. miiiCasa as Latin, casa means “home” and miii means “me.” miiiCasa is dedicated to provide the home cloud service platform, representing a secure and private home storage and sharing center with a simple and intuitive user interface, so any age of the users can connect and share life with each other in a safe way, and also can enjoy the convenience miiiCasa’s technology brings. As a lot of digital devices become popular and more cloud application services become available, consumers are amassing the huge amount of digital content, such as photos, videos, music or personal document data, etc. The growing content or data can be stored in cloud services (such as Flickr, iTunes or Facebook), or be lying in various types of devices (such as hard drives, cameras, computers or cell phones). The result of data scattering all over the places is that it is inconvenient for the user’s data management, let alone having to operate different interfaces to use or share data, which causes more trouble. According to research reports, by 2014, an average American family will generate 12 terabytes of data, which is 20 times of that in 2006; so they can foresee the increasing importance of data or digital content management.
