Company Description
The mission of MidSouth Bank is to serve the communities of Louisiana and Texas by providing competitive financial services.
MidSouth Bank is a true example of how insurmountable odds can be overcome through determination and hard work in virtually any industry. On Feb. 7, 1985, MidSouth Bank opened its doors on Pinhook Road in Lafayette, Louisiana. This location, affectionately known as “The Hut,” had no drive-through teller windows and no teller counters inside. All business was conducted at a desk, and the entire operation was run out of this 3,000-square-foot facility. In stark contrast to its early days, the bank’s new branches — now more commonly referred to as banking centers — are even bigger than the original bank, featuring expansive teller counters and multiple drive-through lanes for customers who prefer the convenience of banking from their vehicles
