Microbial Medical is introducing a family of novel diagnostic and therapeutic agents that target pathogens such as bacteria utilizing a sugar as a carrier mechanism. Bacteria, fungi, and many parasites consume this sugar as a food source and thus unwittingly internalize the diagnostic or therapeutic compound.
