MEDtube.net is a video-centric education & communication platform for healthcare professionals. It is the largest such website on the Internet (+20,000 peer-reviewed content across all medical specialties and the community of +125,000 registered professionals worldwide). It is free of charge after registration. MEDtube is available in 4 language versions with another 3 to be launched in 2Q2017. MEDtube strives for innovation in healthcare and supports efficiency in medical education and implementation of new medical technologies. MEDtube team of doctors (55) curates all the content and provides medical expertise. The team consists of MDs, PhDs, tech, video-editors, top programmers (Poland) and marketing professionals. The project was launched by two transplant surgeons in 2010 and brought online in July 2011. MEDtube is delivering high quality multimedia content categorized by all medical specialties. Its business model is based on commercial educational projects with partners (medical devices manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, service providers, hospitals, educational institutions) as well as on video production / live broadcast events / webinars. MEDtube is supported by many healthcare leaders and professors as well as medical societies worldwide. Independent, private ownership (3 individuals).
