Medipol is a privately owned company located in the Science Park of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company provides tailor-made solutions for improved cell encapsulation, protein stabilization and drug delivery. It also owns know-how in the purification of specific polymers and their applications. Medipol’s technology platforms in micro- and nano-encapsulation provide enhanced protection to living cells and vulnerable molecules. These technologies are exploitable in life sciences, primarily for the development of new drug delivery approaches and cell therapy applications to cure diseases such as diabetes, Huntington’s and Parkinson disease, psoriasis and cancer.
