Digital Magazines for post-print era

MediaWorks was helped being incorporated by Slovenian company Videotop (www.videotop.si), with goal to develop new business models and solutions in a Serbian based company. Two Videotop partners, Nebojša and Nikola Janković, were joined by Ivan Jelić, to create entrepreneurial and creative environment for digital projects. Videotop was established in Slovenia in 1992, and “the group” is now active in two industries: media and video games. Today, Videotop is leading video-games distributor in ex-Yugoslavia. Videotop Color Media is publisher of 6 leading magazines in Slovenia and Mediatop International is publisher of 6 magazine titles in Croatia. Videotop group has generated turnover >8 million EUR in 2013. It is family owned company since beginning and has grown independently. MediaWorks was established in Belgrade in 2013. One of Videotop’s founders (Nikola Janković) moved to Belgrade to expand company's business, and to focus on developing new business models in digital media. Local business is developed independently, but using expertise, connections and initial funding from regional business.
