3D Telepresence in Mixed Reality using a single camera!

We in MATSUKO bring mixed reality technology that lets you jump into someone else's reality as a full sized, 3D hologram. So if my colleagues wear mixed reality headsets, they are able to see me as I really were with them in the meeting room in the office. This makes a generational leap in eliminating the distance between us. We have been bringing different 3D characters since the mixed reality’s inception. However, we have been constantly asked by the customers to bring humans to 3D and we have realized that people can become the content and it has a great potential. So we developed a method for capturing humans that is work of artificial intelligence, not of 3D artists and programmers. We trained a neural network to reconstruct the 3D head and body from a single image.
