MARKETING CALENDAR OFFICE is the brainchild of Fran W. Anderson. With over 35 years experience in sales and marketing, he became weary year after year of laying out marketing plans in word documents, spread sheets and other calendars that did not address the specifics and needs for a marketer. Searching for a software program or Web-based calendar that would easily and quickly allow him to lay out an annual plan and track the marketing budget, as you go, led to further frustration. In discussions with other marketers, he realized they had the same concerns and “pain”- time consuming spread sheets, inefficient, hard to read and keep updated. After over three years of research, consulting with marketers from various types of businesses, non-profits and institutions of higher education led to the decision to meet this marketplace need for marketers. MCO was started in 2008.
