Maclear’s approach to risk management is a multidimensional approach that defines, organizes, and categorizes best practices with good overall corporate governance. Our approach defines the 'what, why, and how,' for your business and technical processes, and allows you to take control of your environment thus defining the 'who'. Our IT fundamentals are based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), the international standard for IT Service Management, in combination with various control objectives like CobIT or COSO. Maclear’s strengths in risk management stem from the concept of taking a customer's business objectives and mapping them with compliance laws, customer's existing policies and standards and any existing frameworks to create controls that are relevant for the customer to meet their objectives. Each gap is analyzed in terms of resources that are needed to accomplish the objectives of the business.
