Lot Spot is a Colorado company that tracks parking availability in parking garages and open air lots in order to make parking more efficient. Lot Spot uses Internet of Things (IOT) technology and cutting-edge Computer Vision (CV) algorithms to track parking availability. The data collected are stored in the cloud where they undergo traditional and big data processing to reveal useful information that parking managers can use to optimize their parking. In addition, this information is provided to users of a mobile application in order to make parking easier for them, and to improve the aggregate efficiency of parking activities.
