Lost Beat is a music based project which aims at providing a platform for struggling musicians.

Lost Beat is a music oriented, networking based project launched to provide a platform for struggling musicians. A Musical Networking Platform (as we like to call it), the project aims at creating as well as strengthening the identity of musicians and eventually associating a brand value to them. Lost in a sea of people, many are found clueless as to what to do about their obvious talent for creating music. We have, thus, created a website which gives musicians space to put their creative pieces in. Our primary target is amateur and previously unheard musicians. Since we aim at promoting raw and original talent over commercial music, our game-plan is networking and connectivity. The Musical Networking platform that Lost Beat works on gives musicians a virtual stage to showcase and explore their talent. Our website lets them upload and broadcast their pieces of work to those working in similar fields and to their fans to get immediate feedback. We aim at creating a virtual musical intellectual hub where easy interaction and socialisation bring growth opportunities for all. We know how musicians struggle to snag shows within and out of their cities, whilst practicing ceaselessly with immense passion and vigour. We want to help them direct all of their creative energy towards valuable sources through efficient communication. Lost beat, thus functions even beyond its online module -the website- in an offline module, where the team organises live shows for the bands and individual artists to give them further exposure. As the name of the project suggests, Lost Beat is a community of people who are talented but yet unheard and unrecognised. Our team is as much a part of this community as the musicians and our aim to help them rediscover their identity and give them a direction.
