LiftPort Group was founded on the idea that an Elevator to Space could – and should – be built commercially. The concept was simple: to develop the sub-systems and precursor technologies needed for the Elevator, and to commercialize these as a method of payment for the larger, longer-term project of building the Elevator. Areas of focus are: Robotics, NanoTech and Materials Sciences, Finance, and Media.
