Company Description

A predictive injury risk platform for the enterprise health and safety market that identifies risk, and prevents workplace injuries.

LifeBooster is a health and safety predictive analytics company that utilizes the latest in wearable technology to help self-insured industrial workforces eliminate preventable workplace injuries. Our flagship product is ErgoSenz, a system of wireless motion capture sensors and a cloud-based risk analytic engine that helps health and safety professionals understand and target the risk factors that lead to the single largest injury type, musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). These injuries on average cost $70k per incident, represent 33% of all injuries in the workplace and cost US companies over $21B in direct costs alone each year, with indirect costs reaching anywhere from 1 to 10 times that of the direct. MSDs have been deemed one of the largest challenges for safety professionals due to the difficulty in obtaining leading indicator metrics and understanding how these injuries occurred. Traditionally ergonomics has been reactive in nature, limited in scope, focused on workplace design, and based on opinion. ErgoSenz solves this by providing an unbiased risk assessment on the biomechanics of an entire workforce, allowing a company to prioritize their risk mitigation strategies and prevent injuries before they occur with just one click of a button. Companies are provided with an unbiased overview of how their workers are moving and engaging with their environments, allowing them to cater training and education to the specific risks of different work groups. If an injury occurs, ErgoSenz provides an unbiased injury analysis from before, during, and after the incident, where a safety professional can visualize exactly what the worker was doing at the time of the incident, making incident reconstruction fast, simple, and cost effective. Our mission is to eliminate these preventable injuries by shifting the focus of health and safety from reactive to proactive.
