Company Description
Leikr develops wearable products for the sports and fitness market
Leikr is a training device that aims to revolutionize the way people train. The electronic companion monitors performances, guides its users through their route and workout, and helps them analyze and share their achievements on an online sports community named Endomondo. The device allows its users to choose their maps from the online portal and upload them to their watches through Wi-Fi. A dot will indicate the current position and a dashed line will trace its users’ movement on the map. Individuals can select their map scale according to their sport. Leikr sends software updates to enable more features and enables the integration with the new sensors. The watch has features such as ergonomic fit, scratch resistant gorilla glass, detachable strap, and will not have any skin reactions. The company allows its users to create their workouts and training programs. In the workout editor its users can decide the number of intervals they need for their workout and assign to each of them a specific duration. Once it is created individuals can upload them to their watch by syncing. It provides chest strap to monitor heart rate and cadence and speed sensors for cycling. Leikr is a Denmark-based company that was founded in 2012 by Palle Staffeldt, Nikolaj Due, Cristiano Cairo, and Lars Moeller.
