LegalRisk.io is a SaaS tool that uses relational mapping technology, similar to services like Palantir, to identify and surface potentially problematic personal and professional relationships for lawyers enabling them to manage their relationships to minimize the risk of a conflicts of interest malpractice violation. It's important to law firms because tracking their relationships with clients, attorneys, and other employees and ensuring that all interests are aligned at all times is required by legal Rules of Professional Conduct (RPCs). If interests are misaligned between a law firm and its client it is a violation of the RPCs and grounds for the client to sue the firm. We use graph database technology to automatically analyze a plethora of public and private data sets, surfacing all relevant relationships regardless of whether the law firm knew of them or not. Legacy systems only identify 1st degree relationships. LegalRisk.io surfaces all relevant Nth degree relationships.
