LE_BAS is a design studio based in Buenos Aires and Ireland founded by designers Dolores Mouriño and Lucila De Paula. They met in 2003 at Design University in Buenos Aires and they have been working together since 2009. At LE_BAS they find inspiration in the elemental beauty of materials, Argentina’s leather heritage and in the love for harmony in craft. They design thoughtful and enduring leather goods combining premium Argentinian leather and the country’s traditional craftsmanship. Their mission is to pursuit classic simplicity and essential functionality building high quality products that will last the test of time and adapt to the changing needs of their customer.
