Company Description

Latin is Facilitating growth of Hispanic business owners and Latino entrepreneurs and professionals in today’s economy

Today’s highly competitive economic environment notwithstanding, they firmly believe that opportunities abound for Latino entrepreneurs and professionals, especially when armed with all of the tools necessary to succeed. Chief among these is information that bears directly on marketplace trends and proven routes to success. Indeed, it can be said that access to such information is often what distinguishes winners. This is the animating principle behind Latin Business Today. They are committed to providing an unprecedented array of resources specific to today’s enterprising Latino, regardless of his or her field. First and foremost, however, Latin Business Today is a forum for the exchange of ideas, and for collaboration. Readers will gain perspective and insight through dialog with one another, as well as from their rich editorial offerings. The latter will include comprehensive coverage across a broad range of relevant subject areas, in addition to coverage of innovators and achievers. Practical knowledge and solutions will be the focus throughout. Their stated mission: to inform, inspire, mentor, and empower business owners and other Latino professionals in the 21st century. Their emphasis on mentoring and empowerment was inspired by the life work of Les “Coach” Fernandez, founder and executive director of EduCage, a ground-breaking alternative educational program for at-risk youth established in Westchester County, New York, in the 1960s. 'Coach” was my father-in-law, and Latin Business Today is dedicated to his memory and the lives he changed. Latin Business Today evolved from Latin Business magazine, a Los Angeles-based, bimonthly print magazine with a national circulation of 150,000 published between 2002 and 2009. They reached out to former Latin Business magazine readers and other business leaders to gain an understanding of the challenges confronting today’s Latino entrepreneurs and professionals. Latin Business Today is the direct result of this inquiry.
