Landec Corporation (Landec) designs, develops, manufactures and sells polymer products for food and agricultural products, medical devices and licensed partner applications that incorporate Landec's polymer technologies. The Company has two polymer technology platforms: Intelimer polymers, and hyaluronan (HA) biopolymers. The Intelimer polymer is a crystalline, hydrophobic polymer. Hyaluronan is a non-crystalline, hydrophilic polymer. Landec operates in four business segments: Apio, Inc. (Apio) with the Food Products Technology and Food Export businesses, Lifecore Biomedical, Inc., with the HA Biomaterials business and Landec's Technology Licensing business. On April 23, 2012, Apio acquired GreenLine Holding Company (GreenLine). On June 24, 2012, the Company sold Landec Ag LLC to INCOTEC Holding North America, Inc.
