Company Description

The company develops kWIQly - Building Energy Intelligence

The company develops kWIQly - Building Energy Intelligence This uses feature extraction based on domain specific rule-sets to identify the traces of performance anomalies in Smart-Meter data. By combining a independent globally available weather API source with externally available data, it becomes possible model building performance and then to diagnose operational problems in plant or controls configurations without the overhead of building visits. This means that universal rule-sets (complex versions of don't heat and chill in the same space at the same time) can be converted into buildings specific KPIs allowing a corporate portfolio dashboard to be provided that is highly abstracted from the underlying data. The company makes extensive use of Open-Source software but has developed many in-house proprietary solutions built on newly emerging browser, storage and scalable functional language tools.
