Koreana is a quarterly journal that offers information on a diverse range of topics in Korean culture, arts, people, literature, and nature, featuring columns in each issue that highlight a specific topic. Since its first English—language edition was published in 1987, it has been made available in a total of nine languages (including Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Russian, Arabic, and Indonesian), distributed in some 160 countries. The journal has been recognized as a valuable resource providing readers with in—depth articles on broad subjects, thereby helping them come to a better understanding of Korean culture and arts. Koreana was selected as a major reference material for the delegation of the G20 Summit meeting held in Seoul in 2010, and also was awarded 'Superior Specialty Magazine' three times in 2007, 2008 and 2010 by the Korea Magazine Association,
