Komverse is a website focusing on news in social media.

Komverse.com the collaborative user generated blog. Members submit and discuss topics. Votes are then cast and the best comment is chosen as the blog post. Topics may be submitted as text based news or directly embedded videos from Blip.tv, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Google, Flickr, IMEEM, MetaCafe, and MySpace. With the billions of comments being left online to various news posts, the question arises how to give recognition to the most insightful response. “Komverse aims to reward the top voted comment by highlighting that user as a thought leader, it is our goal to champion the citizen pundit”, Kevin Minott founder. This process will organize and promote articles based on the consensus of the group. As new comments are added to a story over time, a clear picture will emerge of the general sentiment on a given topic. Commenting is the center piece of the website; this allows everyone to have a voice. Komverse is a user generated collaborative blog created using the Drupal CMS, and features support for the Open ID login standard.
