We're bringing a solution to a globally growing issue of kids rather playing than learning. Our method is very simple – by activating KidED the application starts running on the background of kids' screen-time activities, after preset intervals KidED pauses ongoing activity, regardless of what it is, and overlays the screen with a quiz to be solved. KidED is offering a huge value to parents who are in lack of time and struggling with their kids aged three to eight years stuck in the screen and not eager to learn. Most current educational applications need parental guidance or supervision in order for the kid to be engaged in the activity and as soon as they leave the kid unattended, one will most likely find more appealing activity - like playing a game. Parents get to choose from a wide variety of subjects and will get to see on which subject their kid is doing well and on which they might need help with. The structure and content of KidED quizzes are worked out by the group of researchers of cognitive science and children's psychology from the University of Tartu which ensures reliable child’s development according to one’s age and level of knowledge. With a screen-lock timer feature, KidED gives parents also an opportunity to regulate the length of kid’s screen-time per day. For KidED, it is important to help parents to raise smart and healthy kids. For kids, we are offering a fun and rewarding learning experience through illustrations and gamification. We're currently the only educational application on the market which targets to incorporate educational quizzes and tasks into kids' other activities on the device instead of hoping for the kid to stay in an educational application. It means the kid will receive these quizzes regardless of what he/she is doing (while the service is active) and parents don't have to stand by kids to make sure they are learning. We also provide the parent with kid’s overall results and recommendations on subjects.
