KaSZeK Ventures is a Venture Capital firm investing in high-impact technology-based companies whose main focus is Latin America. In addition to capital, Kaszek offers strategic guidance, hands-on operational support and access to local and international networks to its portfolio of entrepreneurs. KasZek Ventures was founded in 2011 by Nicolás Szekasy and Hernán Kazah, who were former MercadoLibre CFO and co-founder. Both faced the challenges of taking a technology company from a garage to the Nasdaq and made a milestone on the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Latin America. KaSZek Ventures set up three investment funds, KV-I for 95 million dollars, KV-II for 135 million dollars, and KV-III for 200 million dollars, and made investments in 43 companies based on 7 countries.
