ISTE is a non-profit organization that serves educators and education leaders committed to empowering connected learners in a connected world. It is engaged in providing of professional learning resources such as webinars, online courses, consulting services for schools and districts, books, and peer-reviewed journals and publications. It also provides innovative educational tech resources to support professional learning for educators and education leaders. ISTE  is also the organizer of the ISTE Conference and the widely adopted ISTE Standards for learning, teaching, and leading in the digital age. ISTE serves more than 100,000 education stakeholders throughout the world. It is based in Arlington, Virginia.
