Embr Labs is a tech start-up that introduced thermoelectric bracelet called the Wristify that straps onto users’ wrists and heats their skin. Using its patent-pending technology, it has made a piece of wearables and comfort jewelery. The company benefits from the ongoing mentorship and support of the Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, and it is partnering with world-class designers and academic research groups. Embr Labs has won the first prize of the MADMEC competition at MIT. Its first product, Wristify, is a personal, intelligent, heating and cooling bracelet that can cool when users are warm, heat when they are cool, and interface with their growing world of connected devices. Embr Labs was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Cambridge, M.A.
