Smarttax is a web based IT platform that will inform the PAYE (Pay as you earn) employees of what their tax credits/reliefs should actually be in the current and previous tax year. The platform will be designed to prompt the additional tax credits and reliefs that are continuously missed by PAYE workers. Once this is confirmed, the information is uploaded to the Revenue Commissioners IT system.
