The firm also provides development equity for greenfield investments and acquisitions. It does not invest in independent power plants that involve nuclear energy. The firm seeks to invest in companies based in Latin America, with a focus on Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Mexico, for greenfield construction projects and the Caribbean. It generally invests in a consortium of private, local, and multinational sponsors in projects that are insurable by World Bank's MIGA, U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation, or other reliable insurers.
