Concept Apps is a Romanian tech startup specializing in mobile and web applications, and GIS software. Concept Apps’s main project is Transport Urban www.transporturban.ro, a multi modal public transport journey planner. It currently runs in Romania and integrates seven cities (including Bucharest), covering networks totaling more than 280 public transit routes and 4000 stops. These transport agencies serve over 3 million people on a daily basis. Transport Urban apps are being used by more than 70 000 people a month. Concept Apps offers a comprehensive solution for public transit route planning, as well as complex tools for generating and maintaining data associated with transport networks. Although developed natively on every platform (using different technologies), it maintains a single graphic interface and offers a uniform experience on a wide range of devices. Concept Apps's clients include telecom operators, device manufacturers and transit agencies, and more.
