Compass Diversified Holdings (the Trust) acquires controlling interests in and actively manage businesses that it believe operate in industries with long-term macroeconomic growth opportunities, and that have positive and stable cash flows, face minimal threats of technological or competitive obsolescence and have management teams largely in place. The Company’s businesses include Advanced Circuits , American Furniture, Arnold , CamelBak , Ergobaby , Fox, Liberty Safe and Tridien. he Company’s public structure provides investors with an opportunity to participate in the ownership and growth of companies which have historically been owned by private equity firms, wealthy individuals or families. Through the acquisition of a diversified group of businesses with these characteristics, it also offers investors an opportunity to diversify their own portfolio risk while participating in the ongoing cash flows of those businesses through the receipt of distributions.
