Cloister is developing consumer hardware that enables users to fight and overcome their own addictive habits. Cloister's initial product is the eponymous 'Cloister', a timed lockbox enclosure for smartphones, cigarettes and just about anything else users find themselves reaching for too often. Cloister has developed a prototype that has been well-received by testers, and is raising money in order to begin manufacturing and marketing Cloister.
