Clickshare Service is a small, privately owned company based in the college town of of Amherst, Mass., which developed a solution for helping publishers and producers of news, video, audio and other intellectual property to get paid via subscriptions, advertising and 'per-click.' The company was granted U.S. Patent No. 7,324,972 on Jan. 29, 2008: 'Managing Transactions on a Network: Four or more parties.'
