Classical music isn't some dusty old piece of furniture languishing in a darkened corner of the room, but an ebullient, creative force, full of surprises. Of course, the only way to learn what makes your own heart beat is to try it out. And yes, we're painfully aware of all the rubbish about classical music being class-ridden, or about having to be armed with music diplomas to truly understand it, or even that it's just simply boring (a bit unfair, we feel)!. But then again, don't concerts involve you having to don your poshest attire and sit stock still like some kind of stuffed buffoon, whilst stifling a cough for four hours?
