Discription Aunt Aggie's Tomato Smash is based on a 70 year old Wagner family recipe (yep, this is the centennial year!) for tomato.

Discription Aunt Aggie's Tomato Smash is based on a 70 year old Wagner family recipe (yep, this is the centennial year!) for tomato relish. It is made from all organic, local ingredients and is gluten free. Its piquant taste and chunky consistency is a cross between a salsa and a ketchup. It even has 1/2 the sugar in ketchup! It tastes unbelievably good spooned onto hot dogs and hamburgers, paired with cheese and crackers, with eggs and meats, and on broiled fish.    Our family has always had a vegetable garden and this condiment has been a staple on our table. My granddaughter Madeline is pictured in our backyard with her spoon still in the jar. My late father, Peter Wagner, had started the process of marketing this product last year and had sourced the commercial kitchen that makes it in San Rafael today. He passed away suddenly and when the dust had settled, I decided to go forward with it so as to honor his legacy and create a family business. This is the first product of several that I intend to produce under the Aunt Aggie's foods label. I have been interviewed on the radio and had an article published in the local North Bay Biz magazine.
