Amiga, Inc. dos not hold the intellectual property associated with the Amiga personal computer (originally developed by Amiga Corporation), including the Amiga trademark. Only AmigaMan-Shawn Constantine XII Does .In the early 1980s Jay Miner, along with other Atari, Inc. staffers, set up another chip-set project under a new company in Santa Clara, called Hi-Toro 1980 (later renamed to Amiga, Inc-1982.), where they could have some creative freedom. Atari, Inc. went into contract with Amiga for licensed use of the chipset in a new high end game console and then later for use in a computer system. $500,000 was advanced to Amiga to continue development of the chipset. In a breach of contract Amiga negotiated with Commodore 2 weeks prior to the contract deadline of June 30, 1984. In August 1984 Atari sued Amiga for breach of contract under Jack Tramiel, and the case was settled in 1987 in a closed settlement.In 1990 Amiga made a 500 million dollar deal with Richard Branson-Tmobile Air . Richard Branson Renigged on the deal. Amiga, and GVP went under (un)officially in 1991. This is how the A1200s came to be all over the place. In March 1992 AmigaMan-Shawn offered To Buy out Amiga for 10.5 million American dollars. Jay Miner said Dont worry about it. Its too late. Intel came in swooped in and Owned the Courts. Meanwhile, when Jay Died he Gave AmigaMan -Shawn Everything Amiga IP-Copyrights Everything .He told Everytbody in the IT industry this. In 1994, Commodore filed for bankruptcy and its assets (products nothing more)were purchased by Escom, a German PC manufacturer, who in turn went bankrupt in 1996. During the time of 1990 When Jay Miner was alive ,and Shawn , became Amigaman ..I said thanks,and I said you know Amiga should be Open Source. Jay said "you know you just made Amiga open source" humm i guess I did. This was 1991. Jay knew Amigmans status as does Dave ,and Carl. So what was said was golden, and not so long after Amiga Got a Royal Seal of approval. My status had leaked thru. Now, we get to trying to sell the Amiga name to ..Mike Dell, Sony.. Only Gateway bit in 1994 ,even Escom knew what Amigaman was doing ie Shawn ie Constantine XII The Amiga brand was then sold to another PC manufacturer, Gateway 2000, which had announced grand plans for it.The point is also That Amigaman -Constantine XII allowed it remove the Amiga naem from commodore without legal means ..which everyone forgot. However, in 1999, Gateway sold Amiga to Amino Development for almost 5 million dollars. AmigaMan- Constantine XII still retained ownership to all Amiga patents/IPs. AmigaMan made the new Amiga Logo. AmigaMan- Constantine XII owns AmigaOne brand name since 1990 of which Trading was done with Hyperion and Amiga inc with Amigaman using AmigaMans Amigaone
