AgLaunch is an agritech-focused business acceleration program developed by Memphis Bioworks Foundation, which will provide statewide support for the start-up and growtAgLaunchh of new agritech businesses across Tennessee. AgLaunch will be housed at the Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) and is a key initiative of TDA’s implementation of the Governor’s Rural Challenge, a 10-year strategy to expand the $66 billion agricultural and forestry industry in the state. The third partner in AgLaunch is The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, Tennessee’s premier agricultural research institution, which will provide a foundation of research support in cooperation with other university and research institutions across the state.
