With the API developers, it can connect a short code, use an alphanumeric sender id, and send SMS messages across Kenya. Africa's Talking’s users need to register to access documentation. Africa's Talking was established in 2010 by Eston Kimani and Samuel Gikandi, two MIT graduates to explore applications that enhance the growth and use of information technology in and for Africa. It is based in Nairobi.
