Aflo is Japan's leading image source and one of Asia's largest editorial and creative content suppliers and producers. Aflo works closely with many of Japan's largest newspaper publishers, magazines, and Television Broadcasters and is officially recognized as the Japanese Olympic photo team by the JOC. Getty Images and Amana Images are Aflo's main competitors in the Japanese market. Established in 1980 by a photographer, Koji Aok, Aflo employs over 125 staff and is the official Japanese representative for Reuters and the Associated Press. As well as still photography, Aflo reproduces and resells other digital media such as text and video. Aflo aims to be Japan's premiere digital media supplier for professionals.
