AVCI's core business is commercial asset inspection, survey/mapping and modeling. They believe they offer a safe, cost effective and experienced approach to aerial inspection with an emphasis on client satisfaction and delivery of high quality data. AVCI is a fully approved commercial operator and carries a Transport Canada standing authority to perform Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations within the Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario and Pacific Regions under a Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC). Founded in 2013 by Trevor Bergmann, AeroVision Canada has come a long way from its beginnings in Halifax, NS. When Trevor first started out, his passion for UAVs drove him to fulfill a dream, and gave him the impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into a booming industry. Jean Racine soon followed suit joining AVCI as a co-partner understanding the impact and potential of this growing industry. Blair MacDougall is the newest member of the team bringing with him his skills in offshore engineering and business management. AVCI is currently working various projects that will carry forward into 2017 ranging from offshore oil inspection, provincial power grid inspection, wind turbine inspection, airport commercial development and expansion, inspection of DND assets and much more.
