Active Life Scientific (ALSI) is a medical device company that has developed a new device for measuring bone quality: OsteoProbe. Prior to the invention of OsteoProbe it was impossible to measure bone material quality in the clinic, which had limited physician’s options for confident decision making. OsteoProbe is approved for clinical use in Europe (CE Mark). ALSI is currently supporting top clinical researchers around the world who are using the technology to advance our understanding of bone fragility and improve treatment decision making as well as expanding into clinical centers in Europe. The next major milestone for ALSI is receiving regulatory approval for the device in the United States.
