ACHICA uses the private sale model, which means only its members can access its products and it is closed to search engines and price comparison sites, which in turn protects the brands it promotes. ACHICA is co-founded by online retail experts Quentin Griffiths, formerly one of the co-founders of ASOS and William Cooper former CEO of TradeDoubler, Europeâ€s largest digital marketing company. Both partners have jointly invested in several online retail ventures since 2000 before launching their first co-owned online retail experience, ACHICA, in February 2010.
