6tm Solutions is a pioneering mobile application development start-up and a provider of value added services for the telecommunications industry in Zimbabwe. In 2010, Tendekai Muchenje started the venture as a personal project with the sole purpose of providing a mobile payment solution, but after looking at the terrain, 6tm Solutions was rebranded and expanded to also provide localized applications for the Zimbabwean market. The aim is to fill the functionality void that has been created by the introduction of 3G services in Zimbabwe over the past 2 years. 6tm Solutions currently has 7 applications, due for launch in 2012. These will be distributed under the Yose Marketplace umbrella platform. These are: --> Yose : An airtime integrated payment and transfer system --> Papi : A location based application providing local search, shopping & routing --> Nyahwa: an m-learning solution customized for Zimbabwean academic curricula --> Hurudza: an m-agriculture solution acting as a farmer's market & trading store --> Mudzi: an m-health solution for self diagnosis, tips and emergency alerts --> Prezha: an event calendar and nightlife guide for Zimbabwe --> Madhiri: peer to peer trading platform and with deals and classifieds
